Aashika Vishwanath

President

Hi! I’m Aashika, a senior pursuing a BSE in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence, minors in Engineering Entrepreneurship and Statistics from Wharton, and an accelerated MSE in Data Science from the School of Engineering. I’ve served as President of Wharton Undergraduate Data Analytics Club for 2 years, launching initiatives such as WUDAC’s annual datathon and Philadelphia school DS outreach program.

I’ve also been a senior analyst at Wharton Analytics Fellows for 3 semesters, working with companies like IKEA and Petco to optimize conversion rates and marketing campaigns.

I’m originally from Seattle, Washington, and love Indian Classical dancing and painting in my free time.

 
 

Laura Li

Vice President of Education

I’m Laura Li, a senior majoring in Math and Computer Science with a minor in Statistics, and I’m also pursuing an accelerated master in Data Science. As the VP of Education, I’m excited to lead the committee to design the curriculum for our Analytics 101 program. Since joining WUDAC in my sophomore year, I’ve really enjoyed sharing my passion for data science and guiding students to explore various technical tools. Last semester, I served as a 201 Project Lead, where my team developed machine learning models for a fintech company to predict fraudulent transactions and mitigate risk.

I’m always captivated by the thrill of exploration in numbers, unveiling hidden patterns and transforming them into new angles to see the world. I have worked as a data analyst to help company analyze market potential for their products, research analyst at a VC firm to evaluate potential commercialization of tech projects, and I’m joining a hedge fund this summer for semi-systematic investing.

Outside the classroom, I’m a card game enthusiast – Poker, Figgie, and One Night Werewolf are my favorites – and an avid sports lover, everything from volleyball, golf to skiing.

 
 

Michelle Li

Vice President of Marketing

Hi, I’m Michelle Li, a sophomore studying Finance and Statistics. I’m thrilled to serve as WUDAC’s VP of Marketing this semester to develop WUDAC’s voice and presence across various social media channels, promote WUDAC events across campus, and work to increase member engagement. 

Outside of WUDAC, I'm involved in WUPP, WAX, MUSE, and Penn’s Wind Ensemble. Last summer I worked for a government nonprofit to document the effect of the Trump administration's actions by congressional district. In my free time I enjoy cooking and crocheting. I’m looking forward to collaborating with all the new WUDAC members this semester!

 

Dominic Chang

Executive Vice President

Hi, I’m Dominic Chang, one of the Executive VPs.  I’m a junior studying CIS in SEAS and minoring in Statistics and Data Science.

Last summer, I was a Software Engineer Intern at Meta, where I worked on the AI Platform team. I love WUDAC because I’m passionate about Data Analytics and love all the different opportunities the club provides. I’ve done 2 semesters with WAF and I’m also currently a coach on the Penn Club Swim team. Outside of school, I love sports and exploring the Philly food scene.

 

Siri Paruchuri

Vice President of Events

Hi! I’m Siri, a sophomore in Wharton, concentrating in Finance and Statistics. I have been involved in WUDAC for three semesters now, and I am so excited to serve as WUDAC’s VP of Events. I have always been passionate about connecting like-minded people, and I’m so excited to see WUDAC’s growth this semester.

Outside of WUDAC, I am involved in WUFC, The WALK Fashion Magazine, Wharton Ambassadors, research through the Stevens Center, and I serve as a LGST 1000 Undergraduate TA. Beyond that, I am a huge fan of iced coffee and live music (I have been to over 15 concerts so far).

 

Savir Basil

Vice President of Projects

I’m Savir, a sophomore studying Finance and Statistics at Wharton along with an accelerated masters in Systems Engineering. This is my third semester in WUDAC, previously as an Analyst in the 201 program and then as a Technical Lead last spring. I’m excited to be the VP of Projects, overseeing the Projects committee that consults for real world companies using data science.

In my free time, I enjoy being outside and especially playing tennis and golf. Looking forward to working with everyone!

 

Samuel Sosa

Executive Vice President

Hi! I’m Samuel, a sophomore studying Computer Science. This semester, I’m serving as WUDAC’s Exec VP, where I help coordinate events, marketing, and high school outreach initiatives. My goal is to strengthen collaboration across committees and lead WUDAC’s outward-facing operations.

Outside of WUDAC, I’ve been involved in the Penn Science Journal and WIBEC. Last summer, I worked as a software research intern at Caltech, where I helped develop models that simulate the growth and adaptation of biological systems. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with UPOC and watching the beautiful game (fútbol).
